Hard to find vintage J.R.R. Tolkien red box 4-book set from 1973. The four paperbacks include The Hobbit, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers & The Return of the King. Overall, the set is in Good/Very Good used condition. Two books (The Two Towers & The Return of the King) appear practically Like New/unread with extremely tight bindings and crisp pages with only some dried dust particles on the back covers. The Fellowship of the Ring is in Very Good condition with a small tear/light creasing at the back cover bottom. The Hobbit is in Good condition with a piece of old tape covering a tear on the front cover. No writing inside any of the books. The box is in Good used condition with general surface, edge & corner wear from storage. No corner tears. Please see the pictures. You will receive the exact item shown. No stock photos.
