    Available here is a beautiful 25 inch wooden shield featuring an intricate hand-painted original design portraying the Viking god Odin on his steed Sleipnir. The shield's body is made out of a 1/2 inch thick smooth composite wood (which is considerably stronger than plywood). Dual leather straps and support braces are attached to the back of the shield, with one leather strap intended to be gripped and one strap going over the forearm. The shield has also been applied with several coats of varnish to further protect and preserve it from wear.
    This item would be perfect for that upcoming Renaissance Festival in your area, or maybe some backyard brawling between friends.... Trust me, pictures can't do this wonderful shield justice, or show the time that I put into building it.
    Because of the size and weight of the shield, buyer to pay .95 for shipping within the continental United States. (Shipping will be much higher for anywhere not in the Continental United States.)
