Sold also by G Thomson, the Editor a& Proprietor, Edinburgh. The set complete is in 4 Parts, bound together in one volume, each Part with its own Title Page and Frontispiece: Portrait Robert Burns (vol 1), "John Anderson My Jo" (vol 2), "The Soldier's Return (vol 3), "The Birks of Invermay." (vol 4). Bound in original marbled boards, with a new leather spine, and new endpapers. All holding well together. Each title page has been signed by the Editor, G Thomson, bottom right. The preface dated 1815 Volume 1; 1816 Volume 2; 1815 Volume 3; 1815 Volume 4. Other dates within the music, e.g.1814 in Volume 1.
