Vintage Old Antique American Mid 1900s "Genuine Rusaw - Detroit Mich." Violin

Description

Up for auction is a old vintage genuine American made 1951 "Wm. Rusaw Detroit Mich." 2 pc back full size violin for restoration. The nicely figured 2 pc. maple back measures 14 1/16 by 8 inches. There are no bassbar or soundpost cracks on the violin and the neck is solid. The scroll and pegbox are in good condition. The pegs turn smoothly and the fingerboard has a slight crack in the first position. The soundpost is standing inside the violin and there are no open seams. The violin is for restoration. The violin is labelled as a "Made By Wm. Rusow 21434 Orchard Detroit 19, Mich. Oct 1951" (please check pics). The violin also includes a card that states this is a "Genuine Rusaw Violin" (please check pics). The violin has age related scratches/wearmarks (please check pics). The neck has a solid repair that is stable and holding. It does not compromise the integrity of the violin (please check pics). Please check pics for condition and email question.
